San Fernando Valley Mom 2 Mom (SFVM2M) is a support
circle for stay at home and working mothers of color.
This group is unique, in that along with traditional Stay At Home
Mothers, we have many full-time, part-time, work-at-home, and
momtrepreneurs who, along with many women all over the country,
are reinventing the definition of a SAHM! Our support system is
unlike anything you have ever experienced, a true sanctuary for
mothers and their little ones, right here in the Valley.
Ours is an organization whose primary purpose is to support and
encourage mothers of color who are making parenting a priority in
this season of their lives.
Our circle remains whole when all members are present to give
as well as receive support.

are making great sacrifices in order to provide their children with
the best child care available - mother care.

support meeting & playgroups for
members to attend with their
children, weekly “adults-only” coffee
meetings*, monthly Saturday
support/playgroup meetings for
our working mothers and a monthly
potluck chapter meeting to discuss
the business of our organization.

serve as opportunities for mothers
to gather and talk. Ideas are

and we as mothers of color discover
that we are not alone in our journey

| Monthly Moms Night Out Events Moms Night Out (MNO) is an exciting feature of our group. These evenings out give us a great opportunity to relax and have footloose fun adult time. This is the chance for us to “recharge our batteries” and focus on ourselves. |
Community Service Projects Community service and outreach is a key part of San Fernando Valley Mom2Mom. Our group performs at least two major community service projects each year. This is easily accomplished because most members are eager to use their energy doing something positive for our communities. |

M2Ms meet once a week, in the
morning after dropping the kids off
at school, for coffee and/or
breakfast. Latte with the Ladies
gives us the opportunity to meet at
various coffee locations in the SFV
area for fellowship and fun. This is
a moms only event, nursing infants
welcomed.
