MM GWENDOLYN:

How long have you been a part of Mom2Mom?
I have been a Mocha for almost 3 years and absolutely
love it!

How many kids do you have?
Shane (3 years old) is my only child and I am not sure if I
could handle another one. With Shane, there is never a
dull moment and he keeps me going.  In my eyes, Mochas
with multiple kids are an inspiration.

What did you want to be when you grew up?
When I was 6, I wanted to be a surgeon. But as I got older,
I realized that the site of blood and needles make me
nauseous. Until this day, I cannot watch when I need to
have blood drawn. Therefore, I decided I wanted to
be a psychologist.
I cannot think of only one thing that keeps me happy. So here is a partial list (in no particular order): Shane's
smile, LaMont's love, listening to music, aromatic candles, reading, traveling is a passion, hanging out with
friends, a great conversation and the day to myself.

Best advice from your mom?
In regard to balancing work, family, the household and a social life:  "Sometimes you have to let some things
and some people go. It is not realistic for you to expect that you will be able to continue to do it all
all the time."

One thing that you MUST pass on to your kids?
High self-esteem, high self-efficacy, confidence, ask for what you want, stand up for what you believe in, be
resourceful, be flexible, the importance of critical thinking and analytical skills, humility and compassion. Live
your dreams! And oh, always listen to your mamma:-).

Where's one place in the world that you want to travel to?
Gosh, there are soooooo many places I want to travel to (one of my life's goals is to travel the world), but will
stick to the top 5: 1). Bora Bora to stay in an over the water bungalow, 2). Giza, Egypt to ride a camel to see
the great pyramids, 3). Rio De Janeiro to see the Corcovado (Christ the Redeemer Statue, 4). Dubai because it
is so fabulous and 5). The Holy Land (but not anytime soon).

Biggie or Tupac?
Biggie or Tupac- hmmmm. I will have to say Biggie. "One more chance.  Biggie give me one more chance...." But
Tupac represents as well, "Laady don't you know we love you, sweet lady place no one above you..."

Chocolate or Vanilla?
Vanilla with chocolate chips:-). That's my favorite!

What's the first thing Obama should as President?
The first thing Obama should do as president is sleep in after a long night of attending the many balls then
thank his wife for being there by his side and supporting him and his dreams through the doubt and uncertainty
of his entire political career. Then he should move swiftly in helping homeowners stay in their homes and rolling
out a stimulus plan because it is going to get a lot worse before it gets better. Furthermore, he will have to
set the tone for his foreign policy agenda because Bush was a disservice to the image and reputation of the US.
